With the colder months upon us and a slower growth rate in the grass, now is an ideal time to prepare your LawnMaster® robotic mower for what lies ahead. And properly stored and maintained for the winter, your bicycle won’t just last longer but it’ll be ready to perform beautifully come spring.

Here’s a brief, step-by-step guide that may help you get your robotic mower ready for the winter:

Tip 1: Give it a clean
Begin by shutting the mower down using its power switch located under the device. Wearing gardening gloves, carefully turn the mower over and brush away grass clippings, dirt and debris from the underside of the cutting plate and wheels. For more stubborn residues, a damp cloth with water does the job (don’t use high-pressure water jets).  A clean mower does not corrosion, keeps the moving parts in good condition.

Tip 2: Inspect and Replace Blades
Blunt or worn-out blades may cause brittle and uneven ca nts as well as brown grass tips. There's no time like the present to check your blades and switch them out if necessary. Replacing with a new set of blades will offer optimal cutting performance and your lawn will look its best after the next mowing. Replace all blades together for balance and maximum efficiency.

Tip 3: Check the Battery
Charge the battery and disconnect it if needed before storing. Remove the battery and store the mower and battery in a dry location that is free from frost. Do not expose the battery to the coldness of frost, which would shorten its life cycle.

Tip 4: Do a Fast Spring Assessment
Here are some things to check and service before the first mow of the new season:
Put the battery back (if you have removed it before) and charge it completely.
Ensure cleanliness of all parts and sharpness of blades.
Make sure base station is clean and plugged in.

By following these steps, you’ll help keep your LawnMaster® robotic mower in top condition—ready to deliver a pristine lawn when warmer days return.
